This is an informative and valuable web site founded and maintained by Miss Hazel Stapleton, the daughter of the author mentioned above. Hazel has been a sufferer of ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) for a number of years, and this web site is partly dedicated to giving information about this condition. It seeks to put the record straight about the true nature of ME (which is often not properly recognised, and sometimes put down to chronic fatigue). Here you will find medically authoritative and sound articles dedicated to helping understand ME, and what help there is for those who struggle with this illness.
The other part of this site is dedicated to biblical and devotional subjects, which can be found under the “Blog” menu. As part of this ministry, attention is drawn to the writing ministry of Mrs Stapleton. There are a number of books featured, and by other authors in the family, but the latest one is entitled God’s Special House [The Special House], the subject of this review. Here are Hazel’s words about this publication:
“Some years ago Mum wrote a book called God’s Special Tent – The Story of the Tabernacle and What Came After, it proved to be popular among some home-schooling families in the USA! I am pleased to say that Mum has now written a follow-up book, The Special House – The Story of the Temple. Aimed at children aged 9 – 12 years (although adults may also find it of interest!), the book has been self-published on Amazon as a Kindle book – written by Mum, photos by Tim, and typed up / edited by Dad. The description, taken from the Introduction, is as follows –
The true story of The Special House tells us of times of great joy and times of great sadness. It tells us of beautiful buildings and of buildings in ruins.
The story of The Special House also tells us about men whom God made strong and brave, and about others who were weak and foolish.
The story takes us through many years and continues today. It is no longer the story of a building made of stone, but of men and women, and boys and girls who love and trust the Lord Jesus Christ.

It lists the thirty-nine Old Testament books that tell us about the time before the Lord Jesus came into the world. It also lists the twenty-seven New Testament books that tell us about the things that happened when Jesus came and after He went back to Heaven.
